I always had the same problem when using nvidia-bumblebee. My personal solution: don't use the nvidia-bumblebee package, but the simple nvidia package instead. First install it with a 'sudo pacman -Sd nvidia' , then install nvidia-utils-bumblebee as usual.

Could you add a dependency to the specific version of nvidia? This should prevent the trouble when the dkms package is updated and bumblebee breaking.

@bo0ts: I think it should be the other way around. dkms-nvidia should depend on nvidia-utils=${pkgver}, arch packages in extra also do it this way.

Can you bump the version up to .51 for this and lib32-nvidia-utils-bumblebee?  Coding by exception, it seems like that's all it needs to update it.  I have it installed and working.
