INSTALLATION MEDIA USB TRANSFER:
We recommend transferring the installation media to USB with Suse ImageWriter, Etcher or Rufus applications in dd mode.
Imagewriter is available in our Archman repository and is installed by default in Archman versions.
or
To write the installation media to a USB disk with dd commands:
You can also write the image to a USB disk via the terminal on a Linux system.
To do this, first format your USB disk with a command like this:
sudo mkfs.vfat /dev/sd? -I
then write the image with the command like this:
sudo dd bs=4M if=/file-path/archman.iso of=/dev/sd? status=progress && sync
The file-path in this command is the directory where the image is located.
You should write the directory where the installation image is. Instead of archman.iso, you should write the full name of the image you downloaded.
Instead of the ? sign, you should write the letter label of your USB disk.
